Hi and welcome. I am an aging Welsh exile living in Devon. This blog will be mainly about my wargaming experiences and the things I get up to with my local group of fellow gamers. We are based in and around Newton Abbot, getting together on a Monday night to play various games at Zob's house.
Usual scales are 15mm or 25mm, with the odd foray into other scales for naval or aircraft games. Favoured rulesets are Blitzkreig Commander, Poor Bloody Infantry, Fire and Fury, Bloody Barons and General Quarters.
I also go the the Devon Wargames Group on the 2nd Saturday of each month at Clifton Road Games. This is a friendly group and the facilities offered by Steve at Clifton Road are excellent.
I'll post more after Monday nights game, we are finishing of a Principles of War colonial game with the British fighting a horde of Sudanese and things are not looking too healthy for them.
